The problem is that SP affected the players placement. You'll have to edit Santana down to all Zeros for his pitching attributes so that when you place him on waivers in atempt to move him to Triple A so he does not get claimed.. He won't pitch this year.. So you could release him but run the risk of another team signing him and then he'd be pitching and possibly in the division.
