Where is the MLB 2k12 news?

Being a 360 user I am bummed up that I can't play THE SHOW, but that doesn't mean that the 2k series shouldn't at least make an effort at marketing the game and getting their few fans excited.

HERE ARE A FEW FEATURES I'D LIKE TO SEE

-Overhauled graphic system
-Name brand cleats, wristbands, gloves, bats....
-Running animations
-Tweak all sliders
-Deeper my player (like NBA 2k)
-Real music
-Redo all ballparks and player models

even though I know 2k won't listen to any of this it is still fun to dream...................................

I was going to make a list of things 2K should adjust but then I realized they should just start from scratch.

- Fielding is awful. The whole ball in play dynamics and animations need a complete overhaul. Fielding should be fun not just take a step and let animations take over. This is the most glaring error in the game to me. Nothing in the field flows it feels mechanical and it is amazingly boring.

- Pitching doesn't feel rewarding at all. I like the analog pitching idea but to me they haven't figured it out yet. This might have something to do with extremely unrealistic at bats where you can chuck random pitches as long as they are at full effectiveness making intelligent pitch selection pointless.

- Hitting is good but the hit spread needs to be reworked.

- The franchise mode needs to be made for people who know about baseball not people who want an arcade game. It should have the same features as a GM simulator.

- My player needs to have more depth.

MLB 2k10 and then 2k11 were solid efforts and you can see growth
2k9- I would give a 6.5
2k10- a 7.5
2k11- an 8
2k12- lets hope

I do agree that MLB 2k is improving
just not fast enough to compete with THE SHOW

I feel for you guys. I bought 2K7 then dropped the franchise when The Show hit. 2K does a masterful job of introducing the small details like ambiance, overlays, etc, but fail at gameplay.

Best part about 2K is that it's on the PC. Throw in some mods and you got name brand cleats, gloves, new cyberfaces, perfected uniforms, and the list goes on....
