QOTD:
For me, I have to go back to my youth. Super Mario Brothers 2. The ending screen...to me, looked INCREDIBLE! In a day and age where every game was pixelated to the nth degree, this final screen was just amazing to me at the time. So much so that it still stands out to me, even to this day.

OnLive sounds very intriguing. No more Red Rings of Death!
Ferry may have sucked as a player, but he's done a tremendous job as a GM.

QOTD: Probably the first time I played GTA IV. Having never played a GTA game, I couldn't believe how amazingly interactive the city was.

OnLive may be too far ahead of its time.
I do not have great bandwidth. From what I understand, really high end audio signals alone can saturate a 20mbit line. How about the video?

I do not plan to forgo my other use of the internet (you know, downloading stuff and surfing) just to be able to game. I usually let downloads run in the background while surfing. I wonder how this service will cope with this, for people not living in Sweden, Norway or Japan? (with their damned 100mbit symmetrical connections!)
I also would like to game when I do not have connection, like say, late phone payment. Or no phone at all.

Also, game customization (a la what you can do to The Sims 2 or GTA San Andreas on the pc) will be gone for good, unless the "machine" you get on OnLive is a VM and you have shell access to it (like explorer for windows) to be able to customize your particular instance of the game.
There are numerous more issues I can think of that makes this OnLive stuff a piece of crap before even launching. Its a plain bad idea (at the present time). Ambitious yes, but a nightmare to implement smoothly for us the guys who play games.

QOTD: Spot on face mapping in RB6-Vegas. It was something to see me in a video game.

I'm impressed TJ beat Super Mario brothers 2, I was never able to get too far into that game.

QOTD: I'd say that coolest thing I've ever seen in a video games was probably in Return to Castle Wolfenstein for the Xbox. At the time it was probably just the game being able to hook up to live for a shooter for the first time, and get to watch everyone get together and kill each other. And possibly most impressive of all of that was that Shawn was able to snipe people from across the map with a rocket launcher.

QOTD: My best moment was going 7&2/3 of perfect ball with Julian Tavarez on HH 2002 on the PC

I've got to say that one of the greatest moments I remember in gaming was playing Metal Gear Solid on the PlayStation. When the controller started shaking at the opening sequence when the helicopter came overhead and introduced me for the first time to the wonders of Dual Shock, shivers went down my spine...
