Allow me to introduce our House bannermen.

As for the voting, I think we need to work to concentrate everyone's energies on the Lannisters to begin. They have no natural allies and are dangerous for already holding the capital city. It shouldn't be hard to convince the other houses to rally against them.

I think that we don't want to try to vote out Tywin Lannister - he has a lot of money, lands and men, and Joffrey will eagerly lap that up. Instead we want to hold out for the chance that perhaps we can capture him or defeat him in battle at some point.

Jaime seems a good choice in that he won't have any lands to give to Joffrey if he's voted out. However, I wonder whether his "charisma" might mean he has a chance to evade the vote.

Clegane might be the best choice. Not very likable, and not someone we want to meet in battle.

I think we're going to need to expand our holdings, I'm presuming that opportunities to do that will come up during the game, or through disavowed bannermen. But if any of you know through your role other ways that we can expand, let me know. Keep in mind there might be spies in the camp though.

lol, I don't think well of our chances so far. Any info you guys have about your roles, or thoughts about strategy are welcome.

I need to make my decision about a Hand by tonight. I would like to have someone who is going to be active and engaged with the game, among other criteria, so I'm hoping someone will step up to the plate.

lord Rum has mentioned raids in the long awaited rules.... does our king have info on raids?

Lord stannis half elven (wrong story, but whatever) will you be around at deadlines? I will not (ZZZZZZ) .

Yeah, I don't know anything about raids or other events yet. But I'm guessing that things will come up during the day that we have to react to, or that we'll be given options for miltiary and intrigue as the days begin.

I will be here at deadline generally, as well as periodically through the day.

Clap, I assume you have some men, gold and ships at your disposal. If you can give me those numbers at some point, that would help me.

Okay. Generally Stannis is short on men but has the most ships. We're going to want to bring someone to our side who has men and castles.

Anyway, I have 7500 gold, 500 men, and 70 ships to begin with; and as a lord, I get more every day. In case you're interested.

That's really great to know, inblue. i didn't realize that your holdings would increase. I have men and ships as well, but I'll keep the numbers hidden for now due to the risk of spies. Bulletsponge is Melisandre so I assume he has no men or gold.

InBlue, I'm inclined to name you Hand, for fictional reasons mostly. Let me know if you are interested. It allows us PM abilities, which if you're interested in strategizing could be very useful, but if you're not won't be ;-)

Sure, if you think it's wise. Unfortunately, I'm terrible/inexperienced at strategizing, but I could try, and at the very least I could be a sounding board.

Our best hope is to get the two other houses to gang up on Lannister right now. I may use my PM to speak to path12/Renly and convince him of the same. If not we may have a split vote in which case the neutrals will decide, or they may gang up on us. Melisandre makes a good target since no one knows what she might be able to do.

We need to get our act together for raids, services, etc. It would be great if you guys could offer up thoughts.

Well, we will decide what to do about The Mountain on the morrow. Many will be out to capture him, and I'm not sure how it will be decided who gets to him first.

Nice work fellows. I didn't want to try anything too daring, not knowing how difficult raids might be. But I wanted to cut down on that Joffrey's income. We shall see what is in store for today.

So who should we vote for today? We need to protect Melissandre.
I propose we vote Jaime -- people don't like him that much, either and he has no land of his own so he'd be easy to capture.

Well, unfortunately killing him means Joffrey gets his keep. Keeping him with us, making him bend the knee, gives us an advantage over the others. We'll see.

but there is a loss of honor... not sure how much that matters..

The other option is sending him to another faction, to make him their problem. If we did that, where would we send him? Renly?
