Perfect response to one of my personal pet peeve sports cliches. Just because I don't ref basketball doesn't mean I can't critique it. And I sure as hell don't have to be able to do better than them to comment on their ability when compared to other officials. Similarly, I don't have to be better than Ryan Leaf to know he sucked or that Johan Santana is good, for instance.
