I'm wanting to start up a new league, using some of the things I've learned that make a league fun and competitive, and with the 6.3 engine from day 1, so that long-term records will be meaningful and reachable. I'm willing to do six early-morning (Eastern) sims per week.

BASIC OVERVIEW OF LEAGUE
  • Player Pool: Fictional
  • Teams: NFL Default (unless we get someone who can and is willing to do custom graphics for 32 teams in the formats I need for the web site)
  • Cities Equalized
  • Cohesion/Chemistry On
  • Web Site: CCFL Owner/Team List
  • Forum: under construction at http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/ccfl/forum/
  • League Name: Cap Crunch Football League (CCFL)
  • Government: Benevolent Dictatorship
  • Injury Setting: 75, since we'll be simming quickly
  • Sims Per Week: 6
  • Cap Increase Range: 0 to 99.
  • 25% Cap Reduction via lost cap room, WOOF style
  • House Rules: I'm open to input here, but I want to keep them to a minimum. I'm thinking the following are necessary:
    • FA1:2-12: all deals to UFAs must be a minimum of 3 years. During all other stages, any length is fine.
    • No franchise tag.
    • No restrictions on renegs (the cap reduction and lack of a tag takes care of that one)
  • When will it start? When we have 32 owners who have committed to a team and sent an actual export in.
STARTUP

I'll sim through one season, blow through FA1 and the draft of the secone one, void all contracts, have no draftees, and we'll do FA2 with the entire player pool, requiring 3-year deals at a minimum for FA2:1-5 just that first season. That first FA2 will be run one stage at a time since it'll be extremely critical for building our teams.
