I liked the episode all in all. I wasn't sure what to make of (potential spoiler for future books)...

Theon swearing to follow Robb, wasn't sure he overtly did that in the books.

I didn't know what to make of the Pycelle scene. Again, potential spoiler for future books...

Sure, we find out he's not honest, may not be exactly what he seems, but what did that give us? It didn't happen in the book, and it takes us a little longer to figure out he's working for Cersei, but is his...falseness...something that will be further developed in a future tome?

I'm about 3/4 through A Storm of Swords on my re-read through the series and haven't come across anything quite so overt about his character...

When Tyrion takes him, he is with a whore then. I guess they are sort of setting up the fact that all three members of the Small Council are deceivers and not what they seem.
