Castillo Grabs CL Best Batter Award for September

Baltimore Gothams certainly made a resounding impression on the Continental League pitching corps in September and today reaped the reward as the league's best batter for the period.
The center fielder put up some good offensive figures as he hit .373 with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
For the year
Castillo is batting .287 with 24 home runs, 98 RBIs and 81 runs scored.
RL Best Hitter Trophy Goes to Rangel
Saturday, October 1st, 2146: On the heels of a very productive September,
Adrián Rangel received Republic League Batter of the Month recognition today.
The battle-tested third baseman hit .326 for the
Hammersmith Hooligans and racked up 8 home runs, 18 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
This season
Rangel has hit 30 home runs and posted a .285 batting average.
