So the manager wouldn't want his CF, who has taken penalties this season in league games, to take one in the shoot out? And the shot of Suarez sitting down shaking his head to Dalglish was also completely unrelated?
When it gets to penalty shoot outs, it's often the players that put themselves forward to the manager. Yes, he picks the five, but it often largely down on who has the attitude of wanting to take them.
