Team Awards:
Offensive MVP _ Arledge. Duh
Defensive MVP – Parmely. Double Duh.
Special Teams MVP – P Emerson. Just his second All Pro ever, and for us. He has always been a strong, solid, punter who gives you top yardage and position time and time again. It’s a lot easier for Stanton, Horner, Parmely, Alcott, Rincon, Krauchick, McGee, Kirksey and Stevens to key off players when you are pinning them so deeply and forcing foes to go further on their drives. A sack is worse. A force fumble is worse. And you build on that over and over again. Emerson is a weapon.
Rookie of the Year – DE Grayson Floyd – 6.5 sacks is no joke, when the third wheel on the 3-4 defense. And he didn’t play as many plays either, if you’ll recall. About 250 fewer plays than Parmely, and 200 fewer than Alcott. And yet he was 5th in sacks, and 3rd in hurries. Great job!
Heart Award – RB Colin Snyder. When Lorey was down, Snyder quietly had 28 for 156m an average of 5.57 carries for Lorey’s 3.20 ypc
