Noblesville was named the Continental League Batter of the Month today after putting up an impressive performance at the plate.
In May he batted .387 with 9 home runs, 19 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
Thus far in 2158 Manuel is hitting .335 with 17 home runs, 33 RBIs, 42 runs scored and has compiled a .437 OBP.
Republic League Announces May's Best Batter
Thursday, June 1st, 2158: May was a very productive month for
Jorge Vázquez, and today the
Hartford first baseman was rewarded with the Republic League Batter of the Month honors.
He clobbered enemy hurlers for a .368 average, 15 home runs, and 39 RBIs and scored 21 runs.
This season
Vázquez is hitting .332 with 18 home runs.
