Wu Takes Best Bat Award in July

Ji Wu is in the final year of his contract with
Napa Valley and today added a timely piece of hardware to his trophy case. Playing in 25 games in July the 30-year-old left fielder ripped Continental League pitchers for a .393 batting average, nabbing him the Batter of the Month award.
He also rang up 7 home runs, 15 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
If Wu keeps up this pace, he'll cost someone a lot of money.
Wu on the season is batting .284 with 17 home runs. His totals include 46 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has played in 99 games.
