May's #1 Batter Announced

Carlos Roldán put the wraps on a fine May by capturing the Continental League Batter of the Month honors today.
He put up a .297 batting average and .327 on-base percentage last month while racking up 9 home runs, 28 RBIs, 12 runs scored and 5 walks.
So far this year,
Roldán is batting .288 with 13 home runs and 42 RBIs.
Sandoval Awarded May's RL Top Bat Prize

Mauro Sandoval certainly turned heads in May with some impressive numbers. He batted .367 for the month and was voted the Republic League Batter of the Month award.
He banged 8 home runs, collected 23 RBIs, scored 22 times and put up a .444 on-base percentage.
