Mario Rivera is the latest winner of the Republic League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award.
During his first year in the league, the 24-year-old Rivera hit .344 with 165 hits, 13 home runs, 67 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He also walked 53 times and put up a .413 on-base percentage.
