The iOS app thread is sort of a beast, so I thought it might be a good idea to create a separate thread for iOS text or career type sports sims.

I'll keep a list going in the first post of the thread, so feel free to add games that you are familiar with here, with any discussion, reviews etc.

I've been a big fan of the Kairosoft Games. I've particularly enjoyed Game Dev Story, Grand Prix Story and Dungeon Village. I also tried Pocket Academy but did not really like it.

that's a very good idea, no games to add for now but I'll be following the discussion... Have been really itching to get back to FMH but have yet to pull the trigger on '14...

I vote that these are not "text" or "career" sim games.

Somebody is making a wrestling one...I saw a kickstarter for it the other day.

I think it's going to be Ringmaster?

Or else I found the link to it in a discussion of Ringmaster...

There's Football Chairman Lite as well. Really quick and simple to play. And it's free.

Thanks for starting this thread. I was asking about other iOS text sims here the other day. I wish we'd see more on the platform given how widespread it is now.

What would people think of a sim where you play the role of athletic director? Interview coaches, hire, measure success by money, national championships in various sports, alumni approval, etc? Can't make up my mind if it would be fun or make you long to coach the individual sports themselves.
