CL #1 Newcomer Named
Tuesday, November 14th, 2152: The top Continental League rookie in 2152 was Brooklyn catcher Soichiro Nishi. He's the latest winner of the Continental League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award.

During his first year in the league, the 23-year-old Nishi hit .304 with 188 hits, 32 home runs, 102 RBIs and 88 runs scored. He also walked 15 times on his way to a .342 on-base percentage.


RL's Top Rookie Announced
Tuesday, November 14th, 2152: The fine rookie left fielder from Colorado, José Acuña, was hailed today as the winner of the 2152 Republic League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award.

Acuña finished his freshman season hitting .292 with 29 home runs, 95 RBIs and 78 runs scored.

#1 CL Hurler Named
Thursday, November 16th, 2152: The Gabriel Prado Award for 2152 has been presented and the Continental League winner is Tomiji Hamada of Noblesville.

"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Hamada. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Millers star told reporters.

Hamada excelled with an impressive 20-7 record in 32 starts. In 215.2 innings he yielded 191 hits and 30 walks, while striking out 187 and compiling a fine 2.88 ERA.


2152 RL Gabriel Prado Award Chosen
Thursday, November 16th, 2152: Rubén Nleto joined an elite group of pitchers today by picking up the Republic League Gabriel Prado Award for 2152.

The 30-year-old hurler finished the year 16-4 for the Toronto Marlboros, piling up 200.2 innings, registering 141 strikeouts and walking 55 on his way to a solid 2.60 ERA.

2152 CL Top Hitter Trophy Given to Carlton
Friday, November 17th, 2152: Dave Carlton has been around Front Office Offseason League enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his standout run through the 2152 season, he's taking home the Hideaki Tanaka Award in the Continental League.

The Noblesville second baseman put up a batting average of .359 with 37 doubles, 7 triples, 38 home runs and 109 RBIs.

Friday, November 17th, 2152: 2152 was a fine year for Hartford left fielder John Francis and it was topped off today with the announcement that he is the winner of the Republic League Hideaki Tanaka Award.

Francis starred this season with a .345 batting average, 209 hits, 28 home runs, 93 RBIs, .397 OBP and 90 runs scored.
