Risk as I still feel there are tons of "sleepers" who I feel may have a better year than Beltran.

Weeks and Soto were both on my list too. I still had a very sour taste in my mouth over Soto from last year, I think that is what held me off. Being a Brewer fan, I know the potential first-hand that Weeks has - as long as he can stay healthy. He was ready for a breakout year last year and I hope he picks up where he left off.

Seriously, people need to start sending in lists. And we should probably plan for a weekend to finish this draft up via aim.

To be fair, he had asked me a question via PM that I didn't see or answer until about an hour ago. I should probably post the summary here, for the record, since we seem to get this question every year.

He asked against Heyward since he's not in the Yahoo pool. We've had this happen in the past and I've maintained that I don't really want to keep two separate lists so if a player is not in the Yahoo pool, they're not draftable in this league. I'm sure he'll be added to the waiver wire in the first week or two and he will have to be added through those means and the waiver wire order will matter most there.

Yeah, there is some danger there now that I'm doing the math.

We're at 14 rounds in 12 days with 13 more rounds to go. It's already the 23rd and we have only another week and change to pick. Really problematic is that it seems like we're going a little slower rather than faster as things go on.

Depending on where we are, say, Thursday- I may cut the clock in half, down to 3 hours, and we really will have to start going to more list picks. Again, I love the slower draft, but we might not be able to finish before the season starts at this rate.

I had a provision to do the draft next Thursday night but that might not even work as my parents will be in town and that's going to completely screw up my schedule all next weekend.

Sorry for the confusion on my pick. I asked SI about Jason Heyward's eligibility because his name appears in the Yahoo search box but he does not come up like Strasburg does.

I see now that SI explained this above.

I am in favor of shortening the clock and requiring all players to submit lists which SI will use if they don't pick within two hours of the previous pick.
