What we do is way less dorky than say, people who play fantasy sports. Our players get lives because we give them life. This takes work. Fantasy sports? That stuff is easy. You just wait for the players to play and then write down their stats. This is way better and we're not dorks. We're CREATORS! |

The Dan Long infiltrating the Harpooners plan is working perfectly.

Porter Gilbert comes on to pitch for Hartford in the 9th and logs a 1-2-3 inning.
We head to the bottom of the 9th inning with the score tied 2-2. The only FOOL Classic in history to go into extra innings in the 9th game was the 1969 Classic between Brooklyn and Compton that was won by Brooklyn in the bottom of the 13th inning. Last year's Classic went the full 9 games, before Columbus knocked off Valdosta, too. What a series this has been, huh folks? |

If my manager was cool, he'd bring in Carlos Gonzales here.. but he'll likely go with someone stupid like Derek Carpenter instead.

George Baker hits a leadoff TRIPLE with a 3-2 count to start the 9th inning. The Hartford faithful are buzzing and the stadium is LOUD with all 43,361 people in the stands going absolutely nuts.
