Fucking Ridley. Hold onto the motherfucking ball. He's fucking killing them - although to be fair the rest of the team is playing like dogshit too.

Ballgame. Time for me to find something else to do.

Trying to think positively - it's good for the Pats to have a humbling loss like this later in the season. It forces them to refocus.

Sure...that's what I'll tell myself.

With all these fumbles, hard to regard this game as anything but a fluke.

Any weather predictions for next week in Seattle?
SF seems to thrive in bad weather.

49ers are doing to Patriots what the Giants are so good at doing. Bounces have gone their way, but they'd be winning anyway.

With a loss like this, the wrath and anger gets taken out on their next opponent.

That Gore fumble recovery run for TD is going to be a fantasy football scoring nightmare in the playoffs.

Since it was a fumble, it is not rushing yards nor a rushing TD. It is an offensive fumble recovery TD, so it doesn't count as a defensive score either. In the ESPN leagues I'm in, it currently counts as nothing.

I'm in a league on MyFantasyFootball.com, and it actually accounts for offensive fumble recovery TDs and awards the points to the offensive player, but not the recovery yards.

Weird play. Even more weird than Aldon Smith picking off a pass.

Wow, young QB's are taking over. And this game is going the opposite of how I expected it to.

Damn, guess we'll need Seattle to beat SF next week for GB to get the 1st round bye. NE didn't even show up tonight, probably costing themselves the 1st round bye as Denver closes at home vs Cleveland and KC.

If you want half full texans were probably taking the 1 seed anyway. Gronk would have been huge in this type of game. Terrible luck on the bounces. Mallet gets some development time.

This. Their defense is damn good. Credit to them.

Not a believer in Kapernick, but credit to their defense.

This is the false hope phase don't worry. Arrington will get flagged for a 60 yard PI at the 1 yard line

Just got off work. I can't believe the Cowboys are tied for first. This team doesn't deserve first. I mean, I'll take it.

But I fully expect them to be beat down by the Saints next week.

Don't look now, but it's a 1-score game with 12 minutes left and the Pats offense has finally come alive (while SF has gone silent).

I actually just muted it and started watching Dexter on my iPad in front of the TV, so I've noticed that yes...it just might end up being a ballgame again.

Difference right now is:
1st half 49ers chances = Too many blanks
2nd half Pats chances = All TD's

Maybe the baby kept him up last night and that's why they weren't sharp in the first half??
