Colorado has a huge week recruiting:

5* DB Dan McFadden
5* DB Matt Guttierez
4* RB Alex Strickland

We needed DB's badly so those are two huge commits.

My big worry in last week's thread proved to be no such thing...got the news that 5* WR Walter Flowers committed. A+ speed, A+ acceleration, A+ awareness...at 6 foot 7 inches. He'll slide beautifully into Heisman winner Charles Mays' spot when Mays surely declares after this season. I was obsessed with him from the start, and moved all the way up from 10th in his rankings preseason to earn his LOI.

Pitt finished the regular season with a shootout win over Tennessee. The final score was 52-38. Pitt totaled 560 yard of offense and gave up over 480. I didn't get to put my second string offense in until late in the 4th quarter and Heisman hopeful Jared Carter ran 36 times for 330 yards and 3 TDs. I'm assuming that he won't stay with me for all 4 years, but right now I'm hoping he stays with me for more than 1.

Stole one 38-31 over DeTox and Colorado.

The D made a goal line stand 4th and GL from the 1 with 25 sec left. Stuffed the FB dive and won the same way I lost vs VaTech a few weeks earlier!

Me and sab got about halfway thru our game last night before one of us got disconnected from the EA server despite not having any internet issues. Think I'll be able to go tonight but if not we'll play Saturday.

Ok State takes out Rutgers 55-21. I did not match up well with them at all and he destroyed me in the passing game and exposed all of the weak points of my D. Glad I didn't have anyone important visiting today.

Mays' speed set the tone early with that first punt return down to the 1, the long return TD a bit later, that deep crossing route where Tepper fired it beautifully back the other way downfield, etc. He's just really hard to control.

You ran the ball down my throat though. Good luck in bowl season.
