Pitt took out rival Cincy by a score of 66-3. I achieved a personal first in this game by not running a single offensive play in the first quarter. A very long offensive drive by Cincy to start the game was followed by a FG and a KR for TD. The next series we forced them to punt which resulted in a PR TD.
The stat-line for someone I hope to see in a Heisman race: Jared Carter - Freshman (RS) Rushing: 21 for 250 yds and 5 TDs Kick Return: 2 for 180 yds and 1 TD Punt Return: 4 for 175 yds and 1 TD Overall: 605 yds and 7 TDs. I pulled him and the rest of the starters in the 3rd quarter. |

We're struggling as I expected..
After barely beating Duke we squeak one out against Maryland that looks better than it was thanks to a late game pick-6. I'm glad we're getting wins, but I know some of these close games are going to bite us eventually. Oh - and I was the last one left for the week, sweet!
