And Joey Barton is.. Joey Barton. Attacked a couple City players, apparently trying to headbutt Aguero, Kompany, etcetera on his way off the pitch

So, Barton has to be done at QPR, right? The FA are going to suspend him for a shitload of games, and if his sending of costs QPR relegation,Never mind PLAYING for QPR again, he'll lucky to get out of the post season meeting ALIVE

EDIT: As I type this, QPR LEAD! Are you fucking kidding me???

The first ever match I saw in England was QPR-Arsenal so I've always had a soft spot for QPR. Absolutely loving this match. You can tell they are fighting for everything. And the goalkeeper has been nothing short of brilliant.

Barton is still an absolute idiot and if QPR survives, I hope they jettison his ass.

Great game!!!! The last 20+ will be exciting.

Danger Will Robinson.. now that Stoke has tied up with Bolton, QPR could inadvertantently relax (as they are safe if Bolton doesn't win) and let City back in to it.

City need a combined two goals (two of theirs, 1-1 with Sunderland, or two Sunderland goals) in the next ten minutes to win the EPL crown

Irony for you: Fabrice Muamba just tweeted:

"I think watching or hearing about football today is not good for my heart."

I wish I could make this shit up.

holy crap. It's like cheering for which evil dictators, I didn't give a damn who won it, but what incredible drama.

In other news, Arsenal holds on, gets third place, Finishes higher in the table than Tottenham and keeps that CL streak alive. WHEW. What a year.

This just in: Alex Ferguson has just hit Ctrl-Alt-Del on his real world copy of Football Manager, and demands a replay.

Crazy finish, reminds me of the finish of 2007 when Tevez put West Ham on his back after it looked like they were done.

Happy for QPR, they deserve to stay up after the fight they put up, just get rid of the fucking idiot Barton.

Now we need Bayern to beat Chelsea so Spurs can make CL!!

THAT is exactly why I'm a football fan and love the game .... awesome finish to the season, lots of highs and lows encapsulated within 90 minutes of a match .....

Kudo's to City for scraping to the title - felt really sorry for the Utd team though who ran them incredibly close (and to Bolton who went down despite a heroic effort).

Just a random thought. Ian Darke has been with ESPn for less then two full years. In that time, he's called:

A) Landon Donovan's stoppage time goal against Algeria that sent the US to the knockout rounds of the World Cup
B) Abby Wambach's 119th minute tying goal against Brazil and the resulting penalty Shootout.
C) Manchester City scoring twice in stoppage time to win the EPL title.

This obviously means that Ian Darke is the new Gus Johnson.

It's just as obvious he's got the script and knows where to be for maximum drama.

Most City fans tend to be pessimistic as a result of decades of miserable experiences, so plenty of City fans were terrified about losing this game.
