Disappointed in the inconsistency from the Hooligans again this season, but happy that after starting 7-19 we got within a win of .500 baseball. And managed to just squeak under the protected first rounder boundary, too.

I think we're close. Another offseason of changes to be made to this roster...

The Playoff Teams!

Halifax Winter Wolves - Back to the playoffs for their 4th year in a row, the wolves want it! They want a trip to the classic. Still looking for their 7th Classic victory. The last one was 6 seasons ago. They have a REALLY good pitching rotation and bullpen...which is what got them here. Is it enough?

Apex Assassins - The Assassins last went to the Classic 4 years ago where they won the whole dance. They have a much better team now than they did when they won it, featuring the best offense they've had in over twenty years and best pitching in fifteen.

Toronto Malboros - Last time the Marlboros went to the Classic, they got beat by the Assassins four years ago. This could be a year where they get a rematch. Their last win came in 2129 and they are looking to break that unlucky number 13 with win #14. In the last 35 years, they've been to the Classic 11 times and won 4. So they know how to play the playoffs for sure.

Ann Arbor Winged Lingerines - Ann arbor hasn't been to the classic in 13 years and during that time they went 4 times in 7 years, winning only once. They are looking for their 5th Classic win so like Halifax they are not as skilled at the Classic but that just means they want it more. And they sure have the powerhouse offense to do it this year.

Matchups:
The last postseason matchups for these teams:
Apex beat the Marlboros in the Classic in 2141 and beat Ann Arbor in 2128 but Ann Arbor then beat them just three years later in 2131. So Apex is ready for this.

Toronto's last two Classic appearances were actually against both these teams: Apex and Halifax...and Toronto lost both times. It's time to pay the price.

Ann Arbor and Halifax however have never played a Classic against each other so a fresh meetup might be just what we need.
