As I've said it before, once 'Bama gets their lead where they know they won't go give it up, the offense shuts down. Look at how many points Arkansas was scoring before playing 'Bama. Look how Auburn put up 43 in a bowl game and yet was pretty much nullified by 'Bama.

After last year's 0-5 showing from the Big Ten on New Years, all four Big Ten schools are currently losing. The SEC regarded as The Big Two might end the day 6-1.

Bo Pellini had some great facial expressions on that last USC touchdown drive.

Two Georgia INTs helping State get back into the game. 16-14 Georgia.

Michigan St in the lead. Let's salvage this day with a Spartans and Badgers win! And then Michigan tomorrow.

You give that south Carolina defense a lead, and they find another gear.
Carolina's front 4 are probably as good as bama and lsu.

Agreed. Glad the first bowl game I've watched all season has been competitive.

MSU lucks out as it was pretty obvious live that he was short.

Now they can get a play ready before the clock starts and get a bit more organized.

Second and 8 and down the ball to get to the center and kick a field goal on 3rd down from 42 yards out. Just horrible. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Add in three straight runs to give the ball back to MSU with lots of time and then play near sieve like prevent defense.

I don't know much about Georgia but I would fire the coach after that. That's some of the absolute worst coaching I've ever seen. Ever.

7-7 in just over 5 minutes. I hope Wisconsin and Oregon brought their track shoes.

Man, Borland stutter stepped twice on the long pass - if he just attacks he disrupts the pass or gets a sack.

Gonna be a HIGH scoring game, at least the Badgers offense should be able to keep the football for longer periods of time so hopefully by the 3rd or 4th quarter the Ducks defense just rolls over every drive...with more ease.

Not entirely surprised but Wisconsin fans are definitely far more packed in than Oregon fans.. 70% Badger fans I would say.

It was incredibly bad. But I am glad that Michigan State won.

I never even turned the UGA-MSU game on, saw the halftime score during a break from Skyrim, figured I couldn't stomach watching UGAg roll. I'm thrilled with the eventual outcome though.

Kicked Walsh had an almost Steve Sax kind of implosion, 40-45 on FG's the past two seasons, just 19-31 this year, with problems on anything past about 30 yards.

Badgers have to play some defense if they want to win this game - glad to see they had two stops early on but damn - two short drives in a row. TOP is going to be really lopsided. LMAO

Badgers are going to need another turnover if they want to win this game -- I've got a massive headache already from this one.

If the ball breaks the plane leaving the end zone and comes back in is it not a safety?

They keep showing Bret Bielema on the sideline and I keep getting the idea of Lennie Small in my head.

I think Ball got hurt on his hurdling attempt. Ugh. We definitely need him if we want consistency at the running back position the rest of the game.

Big stop defensively for the Badgers, that's two drives in a row resulting in no points for Oregon. A 84 yard drive here resulting in a touchdown will make me feel real good.

That was the true Doak Walker winner right there..

Oregon has done great stopping him though since the first quarter..

That play would have been reviewed for about 10 minutes if it was NFL rules review - Ah, well. Still resulting in likely the same result - but I didn't even get a shot if one of the defenders that was laying out of bounds touched the ball or not... Sigh sigh sigh..

Shit happens. Not sure why Abby didn't just take his hit and go out of bounds, not like he was going to break it out against three defenders. This could have been an insane ending -- and now I just get to go to bed all pissed off three hours before I normally woud.
