This deserves a mention... I think the first time a rookie pitcher has won the pitching Triple Crown. What an incredible season for him!

Sunday, September 26th, 2032: Baltimore Ace Wins Triple Crown
Few men in baseball history have won the pitching triple crown. Jaime Sánchez of the Baltimore Charm joined this elite company today when the season ended, officially making him the league leader in ERA, K's and wins.

Sánchez put up a 21-7 record, an ERA of 2.95 and 254 strikeouts this season. He started 40 times, walked 105 and held opposing clubs to a .214 average.

Sánchez is the odds-on favorite to capture the Gabriel Prado Award this year.

I second that! Well, not the Hartford part, but the love for the league and Alan and the congrats to the playoff teams. Now that I've started to amass my minor league minions, it's time for me to come up with a convenient excuse to hand my team over for a couple weeks. I can't believe i keep coming so close to contention with my team of misfits. I guess it pays to have one good pitcher and 2 or 3 bats with the rest just being throw togethers.

I think my 4 man rotation doomed me. My bats were good enough for the postseason, but my lack of a 5th starter really brought down the numbers of my starters from last season. Gah! I just didn't feel confident with any of the options for the 5th spot.

I wasn't feeling well lastnight so i went to bed and watched TV early. I was excited to read the thread this morning. Then i read and after a month or 2 I'm stinking it up. It was a nice run to even get in the playoffs really.
