One team's export is messed up. I'm giving them ten minutes to try to fix it just in case they are around this morning.

The 2056 FOOL-X Classic is set!

The London Bishops vs the New York Legends!

The defending champ Bishops return to the Classic for a seventh straight season and third straight since moving back to London. Another title here will be the 5th championship of the decade for them. No other team has ever won 5 titles in one decade before. Havana, Cleveland and New York have all won four in a decade however in addition to London/Chicago.

With a win for New York, they will record the 14th title in franchise history. The Legends are far and away the most decorated franchise in FOOL-X history as no other has more than 9 titles in the nearly 100 years of league history. It has been 8 seasons since the last championship for New York.

Watching the Legends vs the Bishops is kind of feeling to me a little bit like how I felt watching world series between the Yankees and Dodgers when I was growing up.

If basing it off of percentages, you have some others that have been less fortunate than you! I always used to say though, in OOTP once you are in the playoffs who knows what will happen. I've seen some funny stuff that just drives me mad occur. Maybe you've just been unlucky!

The new file is up. Have a good weekend everyone!

For those of us in the Northeast, maybe we will see sunshine for the first time in like 10 days on Sunday!

Congrats, Eric! That's quite an accomplishment. You should be proud of the quick work you have done since coming back.

Interesting stretch in both my FOOL and FOOLX leagues. In this league, Havana was probably the most recent non-London dynasty type team in the CL. And in FOOL, where Johnny and Toronto are enjoying a similar huge run of success, Hammersmith was probably the most recent non-Toronto dynasty type team in the RL there.

So I think that puts the onus on me to try to break their spell.

Of course, I am having computer issues at this point and am not actually running my teams, but, little steps first, little steps first...
