Spain have gone for no strikers. Fabregas ahead of Torres or Llorente.

I'm going to do a bit of reverse psychology and say this game has 0-0 all over it in the hope it'll be 3-3.

and not even some sort of half striker, all those midfielders are true midfielders and passers/assist man rather than guys who score. Not saying they never do, but they aren´t exactly doing it regularly.
For Spain the "front 4" have 295 games and 45 goals.

Italy also going against the grain with 3 at the back, so that should be at least be an interesting game from a tactics standpoint.

Balotelli? Awesome. The cure for the potentially boring match. What will he do?

If they decided the Euros on national anthems, it would be Italy v Russia in the Final.

Spain is ridiculous. As someone put it, this is a team going for 100% possession without worrying about coring.

With Cassano! The duo could score 6 goals between them and have 2 red cards!

I definitely don't want a future where everyone plays posession ball like Spain. I honestly find it boring, which is why i hate Barca so much. I'll take reckless attacking any day of the week.

well, it´s not like what Spain does is offensive minded. Yeah, they are further up the pitch but it´s not like they take any risks.

Italy with a couple good, quick attacks allready, i´m actually positively surprised by how they´ve looked early.

Not happy with the spanish 4-6-0. Barcelona uses that but we dont have Messi.

Wtf was that from casano vs casillas? that is at least yellow...

or maybe this being his 4th foul allready and the ref warning him just minutes before ?

If it were reputation Cassano would have gotten yellow as well.

Ref imo is doing a good job.

great spirit by Italy, love it. Balotelli/Cassano seem like a good pairing actually.

Also don´t find it boring at all actually

that´s a sub that i don´t get. Balotelli was having a good game despite that brain fart and was obviously a good fit, di Natale is not suited for counter attack ...

I am a Liverpool fan, but I'm still sad to see the decline of Torres. In his heyday, he would have taken both of the opportunities he's had.

This doesn't bode well for Torres' chances to play in the next games, does it?
