Not how I'm sure you expected the season to go so far, especially with the expectations Boston has. What are you thoughts on it so far, what have you liked? What or who has disappointed you?

I certainly didn't expect the season to be like this. I was hoping to be battling for the 2 or 3 seed rather than battling for a playoff spot.

I'm liking both of my All Star players (IT4 and Horford) and I've been disappointed in the rest of the team not playing well consistently. Both Bradley and Crowder aren't playing up to their 15-16 levels and we haven't found someone to replace Evan Turner's production off of the bench. Our defense hasn't played that well either and when you couple that with our role players poor performance offensively, then that's how you get a record pf 14-16 with what is supposed to be a good team.

Thanks for the questions.

Around the League

Clifford Gets Canned

The Charlotte Hornets have parted ways with Coach Steve Clifford after a 13-21 start. The Hornets had high hopes heading into the season after finishing 48-34 last season and in a four way tie for 3rd place. However, this season the team couldn't find the same success. They're scoring 9 ppg less than a season ago which is second last in the NBA. They're last in the NBA in shooting percetage at .402 and 26th in 3 point percentage at .335.

Kevin McHale will take over as Head Coach.

Player Re-signings

11/11 - Pelicans resign Jrue Holiday to a 2 yr/26.29M Deal
11/17 - Kings resign Darren Collison to a 3 yr/26.05M Deal
12/9 - Trail Blazers resign Mason Plumlee to a 3yr/27.77M Deal
12/10 - Pelicans resign Tyreke Evans to a 3yr/52.54M Deal
12/31 - Bulls resign Nikola Mirotic to a 3 yr/17.48 deal

*headdesk* Hornets. Jordan gonna Jordan ... Clifford is a damned good coach IRL, I hope he lands on his feet with a good team somewhere.

Surprised the Pelicans re-signed both Holiday and Evans, I was sure one (if not both) would be gone at the end of the season; gonna be tough advancing in the West with those guys around the Brow.
