Ray Allen and Pau Gasol make splashes in a crazy FA

Pau Gasol made the first move of the FA and it was a big one. As Pau inks a 3 year, 74.79 M deal. The Rockets have now added a star in each of the last 2 offseasons. Adding McGrady last year and now Gasol to pair up with Yao Ming. The Grizzlies barely made the playoffs last year only to get swept by the Suns. The Rockets finished 51-31 and are only going to get better with the addition of Pau Gasol. This move puts the Rockets right at the top of the NBA along with the Pistons and Spurs. We'll see how this team gels in the near future.


Ray Allen shocked the world as he chose the nation's capital for his new team as the Wizards now look like a scary team. Last year the Sonics had the best season in a while and Allen's best season in the NBA as well. The decision leaves all Sonics fans bitter and in rebuild mode again.
