Same here...give me a deep multiplayer Career Mode or a Pay Per View Fight Mode where I can put cards together outside of Career Modes and my friends and I can battle for the titles a la UFC and I'll be set for life as far as boxing video games!

Will online players always ruin the games though. I hadn't played in over a year. Got online today. Had opponents trap me in the corner & throw blazing combos for 7 rds straight. No slowing. And it didn't matter the weight class. No attempt at boxing was made. Just not much fun.

Another game would be great but I think the only way to make something that isn't a waste of time and actually feels like true boxing and that is engaging and real, may be too difficult to achieve. But if they do, the first thing they are gonna have to do is to find a way to disconnect the punching from the footwork/ring movement. In current boxing games, the movement is nothing more than shoving a directional stick and then flicking the other pad or tapping on buttons to punch and that philosophy in itself is leaving out the importance of footwork and its proper place in boxing.

I'm not giving the Fight Night production any excuses, because they are working on an UFC game that calls for more movement on body parts. The Fight Night plan of acting wasn't to make Fight Night realistic in the first place as they said many times.
The team said they didn't want to overwhelm casual fans with boxing realism. I think they messed up by alienating true and hardcore fans of the sport.

You know I got your back on this Poe! I just truly don't think anyone is listening and going to make a realistic boxing game.

As I heard it from a couple of producers," It takes the fans to make a change happen, most of the time our hands are tied"

I'm the one who challenges the times their hands aren't tied what were you doing to really replicate the sport?
