2008 Season-Game 16- Seahawks 33, Cardinals 13

Finishing with a win against the Cardinals was enough at 9-7 for both a division title and a wild card spot against the Vikings. We should have Hasselbeck back for that game, but he is just coming off a major injury so we'll see how he does. The Cardinals had a good pass rush, but Warner simply didn't have it today.

2008 Seattle Seahawks Stats

A couple notes on the stats that don't show up in the table. The solo and ast tackle columns contain the forced fumble and fumble recovery stats. I just felt it was a better use for the columns.

All Serna's misses were from 50+ attempts. Likewise, most of my key receivers had over 10 drops-it was a real problem on the season. Here's the table with the rest of the team stats.

2008 Wild Card Game-Seahawks 38, Vikings 24

I got a bit worried when the Vikings got off to the quick 17-0 lead early, but we stayed with them and it was tied by halftime. The injury to Vikings RB Chester Taylor seemed to be a big momentum swing. The Vikings had a deadly running game while he was in, but it seemed a lot less capable once he got injured. We did well the rest of the game and won our first playoff game. The divisional game will be against the Giants-lucky us.

I'll list overall with coach and team for coach hirings and movement.

CU-HC-Team Chem 2, DC-Game Film Analysis, STC-Kick Power training.

Other wildcard games:

Patriots 42, Steelers 24
Cowboys 34, Packers 24

2008 Season-Divisional Game-Giants 27, Seahawks 21

We had this one for three quarters, but things just fell apart at the end of the fourth. Some of it bad playcalling, some bad plays, and you end up with a comeback for Manning. They really ran the ball a lot more than I expected them to, and in time it ended up working for them.

CU-HC-Playcall 2, OC-Playcall 3, WRC-Team Chem 2.
