Beilein teams often improve over the year. Walton Jr suddenly became Trey Burke, so that helps.

Copy paste for this year, but replace VT with LSU.

While I feel that this team is better defensively than last year, the offense seems stuck in neutral. This was kind of to be expected after losing Irvin, Walton and Wilson. The Matthews transfer has worked out about as well as to be expected.

Man, I'm going to miss Beilein when he retires.

I know I'm weird, but my favorite player to watch will be Mo Wagner, and I'm curious what this new defensive assistant Donlon brings (never heard of him but he was a HC the last few years, supposedly he's major on defense), we'll see, since it seems we have more depth this year maybe we won't do the "don't foul don't foul don't foul" defense this year

should be a decent team
I must've been talking about Teske and Simpson there, and that Donlon guy must've done something right before he left

also I still love Mo

Defense in basketball is not nearly as complicated as Michigan makes it seem. Beilein is simply not interested in it, which is okay (I guess) when you have the best offense in America, like Beilein did in 2012 and 2013. When the offense sputters though, you get what Michigan has been for the majority of Beilein's tenure.

The false choice being presented (not necessarily by you) of "Beilein or the doldrums of Amaker/Ellerbe" annoys me. Michigan could push Beilein toward retirement and immediately be on an elite trajectory by scooping up Archie Miller from Dayton. But they're not interested in that, it seems.

Hahahahaha look at this stupid mother****er, someone ban this idiot please.
