I don't know if Martin is worth 21 million over 7 years. He only has 2 tournament appearances in 9 years but he's only been at each stop 3 years. He seems to be a good recruiter but I don't think he is a good game coach. Missouri needs a big talent infusion, he should at least be able to fix that.

I know that I commented in here already, but man, I really hate that Romar couldn't turn it around. Guy is pretty much the reason I paid any attention to UW in the first place. Anyone that knows me on here knows that UW is my alma-mater, but the Florida Gators were my first love for college sports.

Despite football being my favorite sport, it was UW's basketball team that was the reason I actually started to like the Huskies around the time I was entering high school. Romar brought a lot of talent to this school and a ton of success along with it for years. On top of that he was a stand up guy. It's going to be different without him there. Hopefully whoever takes over is able to actually connect with the fanbase at least half as much as he did and be successful. Glad he and the players he coached gave us a ton of memories, including what still might be my favorite basketball moment of all time:



Anxious to see what next for the Dawgs.

It's funny because with me being on the East Coast and not really getting alot of Pac-12 talk over here, when I thought of Washington Basketball, Romar and Roy were the first two names that instantly pop up. For me, they basically put Washington on the Map in the College Hoop Scene.

Mizzou wanted him, bet they wish they had waited a bit longer before naming a coach, I'd take Crean over Martin any day.

Can't argue with the potential early returns Martin will bring though, Porter, possibly Tilmon and Mark Smith as well, great starting point but we'll see if he can sustain it and hopefully Illinois can keep Tilmon and lock Smith down.

I think Crean is turd but he's not that bad of a coach. I think he gets a job somewhere this year.

I've seen a lot of LSU fans really wanting Crean.
