2005 Texas isn't better than 2004 USC. 2005 Texas was only slightly better, or luckier, than 2005 USC.

'05 Texas beat basically the entire '04 USC team, but a year older. How does that not make them better? You're just mad because your school got their *** stomped by the '04 USC team and the '05 Texas team.

Using that logic, 2004 OU was better than 2005 Texas. 2004 OU beat 2004 Texas which was pretty much the same team as 2005 Texas. The only difference is that the 2004 Texas team had Cedric Benson and Derrick Johnson so you could make a case that the 2004 Texas team was better then the 2005 Texas team.

2004 USC was a lot better than 2005 USC. Texas barely beat 2005 USC in a game that could have gone either way. Seems pretty simple to me.

The 2004 USC defense was really good where as the 2005 USC defense was giving up a lot of points on a pretty consistent basis.

How am I mad? I am making a point that pretty much everyone will agree with except homer Texas fans.
