Hey guys, I don't post too often, but I saw Mike's post about the recruiting rules, and it seems like a great idea, and has worked well for me... one thing I HATED however, was keeping track of everything on paper, so I whipped up a 15 minute spreasheet(available for Excel and other programs that open spreadsheets) to keep track of everything...
Here basically the gust of it... There is a spot for "TOTAL RECRUITS ALLOWED" Which is 55-Returning players plus 2... for example... in my Notre Dame dynasty, I have 32 players returning after year one... so it would be 55-32= 23+2=25... for a grand total of 25.
It also lets you do weekly counts for each category(region, in-state, "THE BIG 3"(Florida, Cal, Texas) aswell as "5 Star recruits", which is 8 per week... also there is a spot for how many players commited per week, total commits at the end of each week and TOTAL REMANING AMOUNT ALLOWED after every week... which will help you keep track of how many more players you'd like to get to commit... etc.
I also added a spot for Commits, where you can write them down, along with Stars, State and Position for future reference... I understand everyone won't use this, but it was an easy thing to add.
