More of a guarantee than not. Like we've learned today, it's also not guaranteed that the guy that sat on your couch is gonna be the guy leading practice.

Re: College Football Off Topic

2017 will be the first time in 70 years that Texas and Oklahoma will play each other with each school having a new head coach.

The last time was 1947, when Texas hired Blair Cherry and Oklahoma hired a young man named Bud Wilkinson.

Re: College Football Off Topic

Was looking through future non-con schedules.

Oklahoma travels to West Point in 2020. Those poor, poor cadets.

That they do, but I hear that by 2020 they may be trying the I by then.

Yes, which led them to 64 wins the past 20 years. Or 3.2 wins a year. Or 3 wins over Navy (with the same offense and MUCH more success) in that time frame.

I'd put money on Oklahoma possibly hitting 80.

Re: College Football Off Topic

Living in Texas, all I hear about on the radio is Tom Herman coaching in Austin, and it reminded me of when Rick Neuheisel was hired at UCLA.

And this came out.
Spoiler

Neuheisel was in Pasadena for 4 years, and was outscored by USC 134-28.

Granted Tom Herman is a MUCH better coach than Rick was, but it's a nice reminder that not all hype is good hype.
