He still has a year of eligibility left. He was a redshirt his first year on campus I believe. So he's a senior in academics, but a junior on the athletic side if that makes sense.

Pro Style Pocket passer. Tall kid, 6'5, strong arm but never seemed to use it with us. Won't run at all. #1 QB coming out of high school. He was back up to Kessler his first 3 years and was our starter this year before being replaced by Sam Darnold. Just never seemed to take risks with the ball or throw down field. Was a very safe, check down QB. Of course i don't think he got a fair shot but I cannot complain at all about Darnold. Kids first 3 starts were against Alabama, Stanford and Utah State.
