    Offense tips?


    it seems like everytime i am on offense i either get the ball stolen or miss a close range shot. i am trying to get used to the shot stick but everytime i do the wrong move. any tips on hitting shots and getting your offense going.

    I have to agree with you on this one. I seem to miss a lot more close shots than in the past. I'm losing ugly, and I have got to be missing something...

    ... yeah yeah, it's the shots I'm missing... but I'm also missing something else.

      Try the pick and roll (down on the d-pad).

      When you come off the screen set by the PF/C, start towards the hoop and then lead pass to the cutting big man. More often than not, he gets behind his man for an easy dunk.

      It's my bread and butter play.

        thanks for the replies. one of my favorite features in this game is the drills you can do. everyday i end up spending an hour just doing drills working on my game. the depth in this game is amazing. i just need to practice!

          After doing some drills, I noticed that the X-button timing around the basket is different from the jump shooting timing.

          By different, I mean there is no timing. When you are rught around the basket, hold down X until your player releases the ball. Don't try to release it at the top of your jump/layup... just hold it down.
