Different shot types in 2K7

Does anyone know if they will have different shot types for the players like the sig shots for NBA 2k7? That would be a really nice addition to an already great franchise. Not all players shoot alike in real life so that would be nice.

It would make since for them to add this but we don't know yet, VC is being quiet about CH2k7!

Just by looking at the preview vid on their website, whenever a guy took a jumper they always used the basic jumpshot animation. Not sure if sig shots will be in the game, but damn I hope so, that alone would automatically make the game seem a notch lower than NBA 2k7.

I think it would be too much time and effort to do the sig shots for players. college Bball always has so many players leaving and coming that it would crazy to do it year in and year out. The NBA they just have to do the exisiting players and then the few rookies that come in the league. I don't ever see them doing the sig shots.

We are just asking for all the jumpshot animations from the NBA game. Sig-shot is the wrong word to use for a college game. I think people are looking at like, we expect VC to make all the players shoot like they do in real life, when that's not the case.

i think they can just rename all the jumpers with generic names and its pretty much set.......

All they have to do is put the animations in the game and let us match them up with the players on our teams.

That's what I'm saying. Gameplay has been great for a couple of years now minus a few glitches (which should be fix by now) NBA 2k7 has "over 200 variations of jumpers in the game", and you mean to tell me they can't put 50-100 in college hoops, you got to be kidding me! It's not like they used the real nba players, they said that they got players to duplicate the shots anyway, so why can't you get players to duplicate more shots they don't even have to be the same ones from NBA 2k7. It would be cool if they just kept adding shot animations and just created a huge database for different shot types that they could continue to add to and use for all of their games in the future. Maybe study old game footage throughout history and have shots from the beginning of basketball up until now (would love to have classic teams NBA 2k7), that's next gen gaming in my opinion. You could have the jumpshot of the players in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and now, Maybe market it as the "The Evolution of the Jumpshot" I don't know I just think there is so much more they could be doing, I just wonder what they focus most of their time on.

I think that was the E3 video on their site. So they have had time to add the signature shots.
