I have always liked 2K's college basketball better than March Madness and from the looks of it this year will be no different. It also looks like 2K beats EA in Pro basketball and hockey. So my question is does a college basketball game sell better than a college football game? I was just wondering because 2K dropped their college football series but kept going with basketball.Why else would they noy put out a game to compete with NCAA?

That's not why they dropped it though. The exclusive EA license deal stared for the 06/2K6 round of games yet 2K hasn't made a football game since 2K3. As the previous poster said, NCAA College Football 2K3 was very bad and I don't think it sold well at all. Now, I imagine they would probably have gotten back to college football after EA snatched up the NFL if they hadn't gotten NCAA as well. And I'm pretty sure Football sells better than basketball, at least that's the case with the pro games, and by a pretty big margin.Comment

Football games sell way more than BBall games, period. You can find the sales volume numbers for each individual by doing a google search & some creative math.
EA Sports was built based on absurd sales figures for the old school maddens....Comment
