    Can anyone make free throws?

I thought ESPN NBA was hard, and then this game came out. I play on all american, so maybe it's different for other levels, but the speed the meter goes is crazy, even for really good free throw shooters. I've probably made a total of 3, and they've been luck.

    Anyone good at it yet?

Is there a slider for it by any chance?

Re: Can anyone make free throws?

I got used to it eventually. It seems harder on Xbox than PS2, actually. On Xbox, I just the tips of my pointer fingers on the inside of the controller to use as support, then I slowly move the triggers in. You don't have to have the shields lined up perfectly, the most detrimental part of making the free throw is getting the ball to turn red (although you sometimes miss 'red' shots).

For PS2, the analog sticks suck, so that could be hindering peoples success?

I know it may sound like a lot, but try to go to practice - free throw mode and shoot a hundred with a 70 rated free throw shooter, you'll catch on quick.

Actually I have no problems at all when shooting free throws. I squeeze both triggers all the way in then adjust the left and then right trigger. Once I have it set I get the ball alligned and shoot. Of course I play role mode and only control the PG position so when I am on the line I usually have good ft shooters under my control.

I believe there was an option for Free Throw help in ESPN NBA. I never used it, but maybe its in CH as well. Check it out guys

Re: Can anyone make free throws?

i play on all-conference(at least for now since I'm still getting good, close games when they should be close) and the free throws are alot easier than i thought they would be. they shrunk the size of the moving ball from the NBA game which gives you more room for error. they also let up a lot on how perfect the triggers had to be, in NBA they had to be glowing or it wouldn't go in no matter what. in CH, at least on all-conference, they seem to give you a little room for error, you don't have to have the triggers perfect for it to go in, that plus the smaller ball make them easier IMO. but i'm sure all-american is another story...
