When I signed up for Live I used a email that's different from the one I use now. The problem is when I want to check who's online from my computer I have to login with the old email, which makes logging into my main email a hassle since it's @hotmail.com and Xbox.com automatically saves the last email you logged into.
That explanation is sort of messy so here's an example:
I login to hotmail to check my email. I then go to xbox.com and login, but It askes me to "Create a link to a Gamertag" since it's still using the email I just logged into hotmail with, or the one NOT linked to my GT. So I have to log out of my main email, and login to my old email to view my profile.
But then when I want to check my email again, it's logged into my old email, the one linked to my Gamertag.
It's just a big hassle, and I dunno if I'm being clear, but if anyone understands help is appreciated.
