Okay, I bought a 320GB version and it's time to start using up some of that space. I'm ready to transfer back some video, music and pix from my old XB1 that's sitting on my PC now, but I'm wondering how I establish folders. Is this something built into the PS3 to do or is there an app I can use to define folders and then drop in my respective files ?

Until they create a new XMB, I don't think they'll start putting in sub-folders (folders within folders). But what you can do is change the grouping (by title, album, artist, something like that) and then you would have to individually put titles in those albums or whatever. It's not as easy as "dropping" unless you can edit some of that info on your PC and then transfer it over.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60 -

I see what you mean. It seems that using PS3 Media Center is pretty easy, but you really have to watch the transcoding thing. But the grouping is pretty lame. This makes the second thing about the PS3 that has disappointed me. But the pros are outweighing the cons.
Well, make that 3. I'm not a big fan of the smaller controller size and awaiting some Power A wireless units I got off Ebay (2 for under $50) to see if the reviews I've seen match up. Just want something more like an Xbox controller.Comment
