Rumors about WWE 2017 Draft

Rumors going around that the draft will be held sometime after WM but before Summerslam. The rumored rules are:

- The GMs will have a limited amount of picks and they can draft from the rival brand or NXT.

-GMs can protect a certain amount of wrestlers (probably only a handful)

- Any champions are ineligible to be drafted

These are just rumors going around but if this is the format it followed, it would be interesting. I don't know how drafts worked in the past.

The draft is so f'ing dumb. It kills any idea if separate brands. Just leave the damn rosters alone and let them grow. Trust your damn writers to come up with new stuff and your ability to develop new talent to promote. You wanna do trades or have match stipulations once in awhile that have guys switch shows but F the draft.

Completely disagree, especially with the women's and tag divisions. They have pretty much already had everyone feud with everyone on both shows in those divisions and we aren't even a year into the brand split.

Talking about Reigns moving over to SD as well. I'm hoping the writing is so good that it almost doesn't matter what the roster looks like. Hoping.

Even with great writing I just can't seem myself getting excited about Reigns unless he gets repackaged. New music, new look. I respect the work he's done this last year, it's been pretty good. But I still don't get even a little excited when his music hits the way I do Styles.
