Although the patch notes for the latest patch say nothing about game play in general and for career mode in particular, I feel it has even become worse.



Since the last patch I fell that trying to play offense with short passes has become completely impossible due to two issues:

The running lanes of my own AI controlled offensive players have become even more moronic. They never use open space anymore. They either stand still and wacth the player with the ball, or they run ointo the space, where there are the most defenders. They also change direction AFTER I have played the pass even more than before.
The AI seems to override almost 80 % of my passing decisions for ground passes, wioth the ball going to players I certainly did not aim at and also by changing the type of pass that is used. through pass, weh I try to play a normal ground pass and vice versa.



Also, the bounces seem to be even more in favour of the AI team than ever before and the momentum scripting and the scoring in the last 5 minutes of each half is as ridiculous as it was the last time in FIFA 17 after a patch shortly before Christmas, which ruined that edition completely for about a month.

And playing defense has also become next to impossible, because the AI team now uses short lob passe almost exclusively to get form their own box to mine. Even their goalies are in on this now.

I play on PS4, WC, 10 minute halves.



I played a few games after the latest patch, hoping for a miracle, but I am out again. This is simply too annoying.

So the MLS playoff format is still incorrect. How is this still a thing?
