Annoying flashing glitch

During games these completey random flashes start happening, (kind of like a camera flash going off), every few seconds. Has anyone else experienced this in the PS3 version? I went to start a topic on Gamefaqs and there was already one made with quite a few people experiencing the same problem.

YES! ps3 as well, I was gonna post this myself but was waiting to hear if anyone else experienced this. I was a little worried it might be an overheating issue but it's the only game I've seen this with. It's very random but seems to happen when the game's been on for a while. My game has also froze (once) in the loading screen. These things haven't happened enough to become angry but just a little irritating.

I've only played about half a game of Be A Pro on my 360 but I didn't notice anything bizarre, nor did I see anything in the demo on my PS3. It would be sad if it only cropped up in the retail PS3 edition.

it never happened in the demo for me either just the retail and it's only once in a while.

It happened to me after my console had only been on for about 20 minutes so I can't see it being an over-heating issue.

So far it seems to be a PS3-only issue although I've been hearing even more reports of unreadable disc errors on the 360. I'm not really surprised though as EA is notorious for disc problems.

It's not just on the PS3, it happens on my 360 version as well and it's really pissing me off. I do notice that it only seems to happen on the action camera angle though. Of course that's me favorite angle

i know, pick your poison. I also have the 360 version too which I'm considering opening, crazy.

I spent a lot of time deliberating on this. One one hand I much prefer the 360 controller and EA has had a lot more success with their games on Microsoft's machine. On the other hand, the lure of free online play, (I don't play online enough to justify getting LIVE), was awfully enticing.

In the end I went with the PS3 version for free online play, and because the only friend I have who's actually getting NHL 09 only has a PS3.

I have heard from one 360 owner who has seen the flashing issue so it's affecting that version as well. But I'm surprised not more people have experienced this.

Okay make that two 360 owners. I haven't used the Action Cam so it's not just that one which is causing the problem.

I have the 360 version. No problems at all as far as any freezing yet, thank god. But I do notice on the left edge of the screen while in a game, there is like a graphical glitch. It looks like flashing pixels. Very minor and goes away if I go all the way to left side and bring it completely on screen. Might just be that I don't have a HD widescreen tv? Not a big deal at all though, since it is very minor and just in the upper left corner.

My flashing is not minor by any means. It's as if someone is fiddling around with my cables on the xbox making the screen flash and shake.

Those with problems, please post what kind of tv you are playing at, and at what resolution:

40" Samsung w/ 360 version 720p= no problems

looks like it's a global problem. At least we know it's not our hardware.
