Just wondering about the BAP experiences of some other OSers. I got bored of my Donovan BAP who would start with to high of an overall, promoted to the NHL too fast and by the end of the season I'm anchoring the top defensive pairing.
So I decided to try something new and took Jamie Lundmark, a bust 1st rounder with he Flames AHL team, 27 year old center with a 73 overall rating and started a BAP with him. Only editing I did was upping his speed to 86 from 83 or so. He started the year on the Quad City Flames 2nd line, was quickly promoted to 1st and 45 games into the season is still in the AHL, with 41 pts in 45 games. But with two stints of 6 games total in the NHL where I tallied 2 assists on the 4th line.
I guess my goal is to make the Flames and stick on the bottom two lines, but I'm enjoying this a lot more than with my created pro. It's just different, like that guy who finally cracks the NHL and finds his role as a grinder.
