Ya took awhile but it's definitely worth it. I have zero duplicates and the sabres are nowhere to be found. I also put datsyuk on some DEL team so he's not playing for Arizona lol. Only complaint I have is all my opposing team captains turn to an alternate and now no cpu team has a captain just 3 As lol

No I believe you can only substitute an nhl team with a created team. And there is no chl logo options in create a team. Only the nhl logos, retros, and the same generic ea logos that have been recycled in nhl and Madden since like 2000. Therefore I think your SOL.

Datsyuk contract is being paid by Arizona as they needed to take it for cap space etc. Just throw him onto a DEL or Liiga team before starting your franchise it will solve this. You'll also notice you have Chris Pronger I believe on Arizona too. Move him as well haha

LOL, yes I am.
Now and then, I have to reset Karlsson as my Captain.
Such a weird bug.
I would hope it's not something that can't be fixed with a patch down the line.

Ah I wish mine was just affecting my team. Easily can change it back. When it's the CPU teams though your screwed for the remainder of the franchise.. Lol

Yeah, it sucks that you can't alter the rest of the teams in the league.
But I'm confident a patch will fix the issue. Hopefully.

Playing as the Avalanche in year 3 we made the playoffs year one losing in round one to St. Louis . Year two we had third overall pick after numerous injuries and at the deadline I dealt duchene for a first and second and depth center I then signed Turris in free agency and doing well in season 3 .
