One important question i have to the devs (or anyone who knows) is if we can actually edit movesets and stats in the roster (offline of course) this time around? Are you guys authorized to confirm it being included or not yet?

Dont know for sure but it seems unlikely from what I've seen. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.Comment

Isn't that UT is for now since we can use standard fighters?
This is something I was wanting as well. I doubt we will get a moveset editor straight out but only through this UT.Comment

UT is more about fighter development where purchase of packs is needed to add new moves (completely different), which takes time. Why i'm in need for offline moveset editing is because the roster is to big and it's nearly impossible for devs to get every fighter right. So i want the ability to fix it, if i feel some specific moves are missing regarding a specific fighter. Most sport games have these feature and i feel this game should aswell. UFC 2 had these issue where movsets where basically broken amongst a wide variety of fighters (sub moves from unavaliable positions etc). If that problem repeats, i just want to fix it myself instead of barking to the devs about patching.Last edited by TGOne; 11-18-2017, 04:45 PM.Comment

I've never understood this and I personally see it as an all too often ignored element that most other sports games, even EA ones, have had for years. The WWE has let you do this since the N64, I don't know if Madden let you on the PSX but I know by PS2 era you could.
It's kind of like how I never got why they walked back team creation and various other small elements in all their other games. Granted, I don't know how that works on the development side. But when so many other franchises have these kind of mechanics I don't see how a company as large as EA can't implement this.
It'd be great to edit Conor's godlike abilities for offline play to be more fun. I got so tired of having casual MMA friends of mine come to play with me and always choosing Conor. Not because of losing, but the apathy that comes after you already have to fight him all day online. It'd be great to be able to tweak that and also adjust stats as fighters get better/worse over time. Being a fan of Bobby Knuckles or Garbrandt was difficult on the last game, and it'd be nice if offline I could adjust that.
Plus if he's in the game I could turn Covington's stats to 0 and just get knock out after knock out. That alone would be entertaining enough to warrant this.Last edited by YourFatZebra; 11-23-2017, 06:18 PM.Comment
