I really hope we won't be able to see ANY opponent HUD in UFC 3

I can do the same stuff with the HUD on or off. It's not that hard after u mastered the game and know how everything works. When the game first came out it was a different story, but after 12,000 plus ranked games and closing in on 5,000 submission wins i can play this game with my eyes closed.

This is really not that important of an issue for me. Every fighting game now has a opponent stamina bar. I don't know what else to really say about this topic.

also i play with the HUD off during unranked quick match and offline for fun. Have been doing this since UFC 1. So Hud on or off ain't making a difference to me.

It's really the same gameplay just a lil slower and more of you knowing when to do something and how long it takes stamina to recharge. It just makes everything more of a guessing game.

No grappling hud would suck for me because there is so many fighters with different moves on the ground. I couldn't memorize the moves for so many fighters.


Probably biggest difficulty would be memorizing submissions and sweeps.

Estimating stamina is harder and more critical when grappling. Health is harder and more critical in striking.

I don't think the majority of us who want the HUD removed care about the moves. I agree, it's a lot to remember. We're mostly talking seeing the opponents stamina bar.

I could care less about seeing my opponents stamina and health, but I really want to be able to see my stamina. The way I play it's a necessity, lol.

That said, that's for how I played UFC 1 and 2, I really have zero idea of what to expect with the striking in UFC 3. Really hoping you don't have to strike with thumbsticks.

Yep, I'm the same way. I want to be able to see my own stamina as well.

I know nothing about the dev process for UFC 3, but I'm pretty confident you don't have to worry about them changing up the striking controls too much on you.
